Title: Path to objects/projects etc
Post by: reck on November 11, 2007, 07:55:40 AM
It would be nice if you could set the path to the location where you store your objects, projects etc. So when you select file open it goes to your projects folder, selecting insert object goes to your objects folder, the same with clip files etc. At the moment it just goes back to the last folder you had open.

I noticed that there is a preference called library and content where you can add locations for library items and content folders. I added a content folder but it doesn't seem to do anything. Can anyone tell me what library and content folders are?

These folders will be used by Terragen when it is searching for images and objects while loading a project. If they are not found in the path specified in the project then the content folders you specify will be searched. In the future we do plan to add a "library" system that would allow you to keep a consistent library of objects, textures and other resources and access them quickly within the application.
