Title: Minimum Slope Fake Stones
Post by: WAS on October 23, 2019, 04:52:01 PM
I seem to recall using this in the past to keep stones in slopes but when I do it now, the stones simply disappear at any setting I use.

Do you have a Compute Terrain or a Compute Normal somewhere upstream of the point where it's all connected to the main shader chain?

That may be my problem but I swear I've used this before. I'm not looking for horizontal overhangs, just the normal vertical displacement. It just seems to vanish altogether even on a 30 degree slope. And since I often use this too add lateral displacement I don't think the Compute Terrain would help that scenario without extra computation of a second one.
