Old file with a still primitive road system (from 2011) revisited. Added some extra veggies, straightened out the railway, added some cracks in the road, and rendered in PT. Enjoy!
Absolutely fantastic!! But the road marks are somehow too perfect and clean to my taste. Maybe you could break them up a little?
I like it :)
and the funny thing is:
If you start on the right side with a car, you'll go around the trees in the middle in a loop and come back as a train on the left side!
That's magic!
;D ;D ;D Indeed!
That looks amazing. If one cropped into the forest and train alone, at current res, one might think it's just a photograph. Lighting on the engine and environment looks pretty photorealistic.
Awesome. Those fluffy bushes look terrific!
Updated with some large rocks, erosion on the road verges, a ruin, more cracks and wear in the tarmac and lines, a truck, and some painted smoke from the diesel train. Off to something else again...
A beautiful update. Would be nice to be there, watching the traffic. :)
Thanks, Nils. I'd love to be that train driver, gently seeing the landscape pass by (though not necessarily that road and truck). There's something romantic and mysterious about railways that entices.

Dito :)
Terrific! Are those bushes yours?
No, credits go to Lighting for his pinus nigra bush pack!
Wow, fantastic! Now it's perfect.

Agree but will add if I may, in Canada there's a solid line at all curves indicating passing is forbidden

Isn't double line mean passing is forbidden? Single means pass when safe and dashed usually means it's a lane in single flow where you can merge lanes at will.
Amazing work , I love how you made this scene and how you created 2 roads ( track , and road ) lighting is also great. Could you teach me one day to create roads ::) .. just asking ...
Best regards.

Regarding the lines; it's different in every continent (road markings (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Road_surface_marking)). We usually have white lines anyway, and in mild curves with view central line needn't be closed. I think this setting can be called Norwegian.

Seems to indicate for Norway "Norwegian" it should be a Yellow line dividing two-way traffic.
"In Norway, yellow lines are used to separate traffic moving in opposite directions and on the left shoulders of paved roads, and white lines are used to separate traffic moving in the same direction, and on the right shoulders of paved roads"

nice stuff, but I found most of his shares to be 'pirated' so I deleted them from my drive.
I really don't know about that, Bobby. I have had his bushes for ages, and thought they were once freely given.
I really don't care about the lines, WAS, maybe it's Timbouctou, or Myanmar. It was just about an old file revisited.
