The planet surface is a displaced image map shader colored with surface layers.
The geographic grid is also an image map shader merged with the last surface layer.
Kinda cool. A globe. ;D

Do yo mean the size of map shader? It's 1 for both cells.
The grid file is a 4K X 2K png texture which I simply made using the freeware program "Wilbur"
Wow man, that's a great idea and execution!
Cool work, really love it! :)
