Title: After some time
Post by: Paolo on November 16, 2007, 01:55:10 PM
Well, after some time I'm going to post something new!
Here is a study on lighting and mood the scene is pretty much simple I've added a character I made sometime ago.
I know that the res is not good and the guy should show more details but the lendscape looks pretty good at least to me.
Here you can look at the overall scene and I'll try to attach a good render of the guy!
Cheers to everyone and keep goin with your beautifull stuff....I'm always cheking...you know!

a big render without the guy should be better.

I agree with Seth.  The terrain looks awesome, but perhaps the character needs a context.  But...then again, the potential might be there if you did it right.

I don't think we needed to see the character by himself on this site, unless you created it from TG2TP.    ;D  ...though it looks cool.

Thanks for your replays! You are right about the character, he is pretty much off topic right now (previous post edited), that was just 15 min of compositing fun trying to figure out what could fit in the scene....rendering objects within terragen it is till now a problem 'cause the lighting system and the control over the objects texture/material it is weak (well, in my opinion) you know after spending a lot of time with maya and mental ray probably I've to review something ;D
and here is 800x600....it is TG tech preview
Cheers and thanks again
