Title: Gaea Test
Post by: mhaze on April 07, 2020, 05:30:42 AM
Just a test with Gaea - the foreground rocks are Gaea the rest Terragen. I've added some extra displacements and textured in Terragen. Plants are generated in Speedtree.

This is really cool.
How do you create that displacement on the terrain?

Really nice! - great work - how was it blending the Gaea output with Terragen?

Ta All,

digitalguru: For me altitude accuracy was unimportant so I simply adjusted the height to my taste!

sjefen: I added some  columnar displacement and some extra erosion with danill's classic erosion.

Gaea has a node called stacks which gives nice outcrops which gives the main structure here.

Nice work! Making the best of both worlds, so to speak.
