Title: Reliable Sources
Post by: luvsmuzik on April 16, 2020, 09:21:27 AM
Again I went back to File Sharing Procedural Terrain, looking for a futuristic landscape for those Freebie models from Kitbash3D.....

pages 4 & 5 https://planetside.co.uk/forums/index.php/topic,4484.45.html

This section has some great stuff I want to try with the path tracing..

So far so good, this is one of AP's terrain files...4 hour render, the clouds I think, as I am halfway through a 30 minute render with no clouds right now.... :)

Same terrain source, no clouds, terrain surface layer color change. 1hr render

This has mhaze fake stones as a tgc. I put a reflective shader on the tiny stones; now I am in gold territory I guess..... ;D Starburst filter 0.08

I like the 3rd one most. With a dark ambience it could look like a lava planet.

Also like the 3rd one (noctilucent sky) the best. Sky seems to be more fitting to the landscape.
