Title: Scene rebuild between paint strokes
Post by: uuderzo on June 13, 2020, 10:00:54 PM
When painting over an heightfield I noticed that after each stroke the scene gets a polygonal rebuild, which makes the entire process very slow.

Is there a way to lock the computed polygon set until I decide to release it again?
In fact while painting the point of view is static and I don't get why Terragen needs to recompute everything at each stroke.

Thanks!

Pause the preview when it's finished. I pause when you need to see result applied as a mask/colour/whatever outside the shaded preview you paint.
