Title: Terragen 4 Northern Highway
Post by: Michelh on July 20, 2020, 12:08:14 AM
This is a try where I am mixing 3d objs with a landscape made with Terragen. All is rendered in Terragen 4.

Nice. Looks like a world after a nuclear bomb; all covered in dust.

Ice? Probably because of the lighting it looks like dust to me. Some sun maybe?

Alpine glaciers, and rocky ice tend to get muddled up with dust and rocks, making it appear rather dull.

I think it was also because of my high level of fog to mix in the 3d props with the terrain. Its a test and I hope next time I will do something like this it wont look as grey an uniform as it is atm.

Yes, that could be the 'problem'. In WAS second sample you can see dust, but also that it's over ice. So maybe some 'clean' ice here and there, or a hole in the sky for some sunshine....
