Title: A tale Of Four Worlds
Post by: RichTwo on July 24, 2020, 07:55:31 PM
Well you may call me Cookie.  I've been a (ahem) wafer awhile...  :D Mostly because I've had not been especially thrilled with most my endeavors.  First person you need to be happy with is yourself, so I feel.

One of my favorite themes - alien worldly scenes.  Here we have a terrestrial planet orbiting in a Jovian system , its orbit wildly elliptic as it drags its only moon along, it too swinging in and out toward its home world.  Each pass toward the gas giant further disturbs the moon's orbit - eventually the two will collide, forming a ring somewhere in the system.

I hope you all are faring well during these times.  I fortunately am blessed, and other than being tired of the (not) new (not) normal am in good spirits.Gas Giant Moon10.png

Well said Rich.

Really nice render and I was expecting something like this from the title.

There's just one thing - I see circular, pixelated rings in the sky. You could, for instance, take a look into the atmo settings.

But rest assured this is also one of my favorite themes.
:)

Welcome back RichTwo. Funny coincidence your return almost coincides with my departure. I'm still doing some rendering with TG and will move on to other hobbies.

"I see circular, pixelated rings in the sky..."

That was due to my posting the image as a .jpg.  It is now a .png which seems to have improved it.  Thanks!
