Title: rendering the low poly triangles in the viewport.
Post by: xpez2000 on September 23, 2020, 11:46:10 AM
Is it possible to render the varying triangle sizes in viewport view?  I think it looks cool and it renders very fast. I would love to see a fly through over a landscape made of these rough triangles... The low poly look could be useful for lots of things like motion graphics, projections and other fun stuff.  I know the landscape geo could be exported as micropoly geo can the clouds be exported as micropoly geo as well to be rendered in another application?

Maybe try using the new poly sphere?

You should be able to get a similar looking render by reducing Micropoly Detail to a very small number and turning off "Defer all shading" and "Defer atmo/cloud".

You'll have to turn off GISD as well. But it works.
