Cool, and welcome back then! I would tilt the camera a bit down.

A good start. Some things I noticed that may help you in a refresher course:

I'd like to see the sun higher. Currently, it's causing the mountain to cast a deep shadow into the focal region, which is a bit distracting.

You could use a surface layer with slope limitations just a bit higher than the populations, and altitude limit it to the mountain bases, and throw in some ground variation and vegetation colour to give life to the valley and forest floor.

I'm not positive, but I think "Better displacement continuity" is disabled in your main terrain node. Activating this feature will allow snow slow limitations to better follow the terrain and not mistake a continuity fold as a boundary.

Since you have a nice little cabin nestled in on the lake, maybe some grass around the shores and a beach shader, and tilt the camera down to get some focus on the lake and cabin setting.

Some tree colour variation could help the forest pop as well.

Hi Ade! Beautiful color. Maybe a slight tilt down of camera for the composition.
