Title: New character
Post by: Dune on November 01, 2020, 08:52:06 AM
A new figure, used in different ways. The dark one has been used for my website introduction, hence the black bar at top. Made a new set of clothes for the lady on the beach, posted earlier. A study of material shading. There were some 'sparks' on the right figure, probably due to light passing through semi transparent glass (window) onto semi (default) reflective cloth, hairs, and skin. PT render, 50mins. I cloned the sparks out, but some are still visible on the ground dirt. I have to figure out was causes them.

Very nice! The fabrics are more and more realistic!

Great fabrics, textures, lighting. What is the time period for the second image? Renaissance?

Reminds me of someone but can't figure out who.

Looks really good. Love the clothes. How are you doing clothes again? Zbrush?

No particular time frame, something medieval. But I was just working on the lady's brocade, and other cloth, and thought to put a house behind her, then thought about adding another figure, then a spotlight, etc. It grew 'out of hand' as with a lot of my renders ;)

No, Marvelous Designer. I used to do them in DAZ, then ZB, though.

Great Ulco!
The second one really remembers me a bit of a mixture of Jack the Ripper and something french... anyway her name must begin with a "Madame" :)

The fabric on the second image is excellent. Has the feel of one of those renaissance old masters painting folds of cloth to demonstrate their technical virtuosity.
