Once again I downloaded one of the photogrammetry interior models on Sketchfab and cut it apart. I replaced the floor, the table with the chairs, the chandelier, parts of the wall mounted candle holders and the complete windows area by other models. For the windows I used some modular window models from Quixel and tried to match the colors.
First I only used white invisible planes to enlighten the additional props, but it looked a bit dull, so I tried to reactivate the sun, and that made it look somehow painterly, which I liked.
Although I prefer dogs, this was the first time I bought a cat. ;D It's a 3ds Max model with the hair and fur modifier enabled. I converted the fur to mesh and had a nice furry animal. It could be rendered without from that distance I guess, but it really makes a difference.
And just for fun here is the original model.
I prefer the second ;D ;D ;D
No, I like this very much, the lighting is terrific!
;D ;D ;D ;D
Thanks Ulco!!
Great!
The Original is somehow the view how the Castle was sold. (The ebay picture :D )
Your remake is what the new owner made from it.
This is awesome! I like the lighting mood a lot.
That's amazing!
Wow. This is wonderful, Hannes. So many nice touches, and the overall composition is picture-perfect.
So if this digital artist thing doesn't work out, there's always a career waiting for you in interior design . . .
Great work here!
Also one of the better human models I have seen. I do find that people end up pulling otherwise great Terragen scenes back (not this time).
Excellent light! Reminds me of the clair obscure style in painting.
Wow, again, this is awesome. The lighting looks good. Honestly this is close to just being a digital set.
Thanks a lot for your kind words, guys! This is really making my day! I really mean it!
Really amazing work!
