Regarding the render; I used my freshly made monks in a medieval setting. PT render, which took 3 hours. The snow took most of the time, and I guess that's because 'non-RT' reflections (which are very fast in defer all rendermode) are calculated as real reflections. If so, that is not really necessary, and I wonder if there couldn't be a way to speed that up in PT.
