Title: Distance Shader with 3D Clouds? ..

Hello,

Is there anyone who can get this working? If so, can you please post the tgd file?

Plug the DS into the mask input of the clouds density shader.  In the distance shader click on the little blue window on the top right of the DS box.  White gives you clouds, black is the masked area.  Near Distance is the distance away you want the clouds to start far distance is a kind of fuzzy zone

Using a planar mode will help give you a more straight horizon look rather than an eye of the storm kinda curve, too.

Yes, this was just a 2-second example in default. You can also warp the distance (or a slightly soft simple shape near camera, excluding clouds) for more interesting effects. Or lean it, whatever.

You can create ominous cloud banks by using an abrupt transion between near and far distance. you need very thick clouds layers for this too.
