I was trying to make an image with clouds. Didn't like it. Then tried to make this one. Finished very fast...
I liked in the past these kind of images very much. Still do...But they are not as satisfying like then now. Anyway...
Images like this were the main reason for me to get involved with Terragen back then.
I also like to make "earthly" sceneries, but to depict "realities" that exist so only "in my head", or only as bare numbers in an article, make the appeal of such renders for me: To generate possible worlds.
To see a nature scene, I can go outside to the forest or on vacation, but I can't go outside to see a triple sunset, or look at a black hole from a moon.
By the way: I like your picture very much.
As I said on Facebook, really cool. My son likes it too. He says "Moona! Datern!" for moon and saturn. Lol
Nice work. I really like the little moon.
I like it too!

Pretty much the same to me.
Wow, amazing!! Just saw it on FB, but decided to comment here.
Looks a little bit as photographed in another spectrum towards the infrared.
Well done, it looks really good. More Debris in the ringsystem in the foreground would brighten up your scenery.
Please allow me to forwars some critic here...
Why are the stars fading out inside the ringsystem towards the front?
There the rings should be thinner, so stars would become more visble in the foreground of the rings.
Nevertheless, it looks really good.

Good eye. Actually i thought about that too. Which would be more realistic...
But in the end this looked kinda better to me. As it was postwork i just preferred this.
But probably not the realistic option. Not sure...
The moon is cool but I think the planet looks awesome. Kind of brown dwarf-ish.
Just so cool! In your mind you really hear the presenter of a science show explaining that the gas giant is pulling dust and gas from the moon and integrating it into its ring system!
