A short "guest appearance" of the water: In a few weeks it will look again like before the big rain; an arid, canyon-like semi-desert landscape.

Nice work! My only recommended improvement would be a layer of mud around the water to help highlight how quickly the water is evaporating. Great scene!

Agreed. A little darker wetline would be perfect. And in this case a bit of DOF on the grass directly in front of the camera might be nice as well.

The darker mudlie and DoF is a good idea, but anyway a nice render! :)
