Title: The Nekrit Expanse from Star Trek Voyager
Post by: WAS on April 14, 2021, 05:44:24 PM
My interpretation of the Nekrit Expanse, and a more lore-strict colorized version.

Sorry if you don't like the noise. I feel it looks more "Realistic" to NASA photography and spectrography.

COOL!
Its getting more and more complex! Well done Jordan.
Now you could embed more fine dust in your scene to get much more complex and fine structures inside the nebula.

Are the stars multiple layers of stars in different planes or is it just one plane of stars?

One plane rendered, but I used it 3 times. Once for main BG and two masked as nebulas star systems.

I like your interpretation more, but both versions are terrific!
