Title: Star colliding with black hole
Post by: WAS on May 05, 2021, 01:20:35 PM
This is a incredibly fake simulation which probably doesn't represent the event very well at all, but it's still pretty.

PS; My issue is everything they're simulating, is being simulating under earth gravity and atmosphere conditions. Lol Smoke in the warping has trails that fall "down", the smoke plumes follow earths atmospherics and gravity for plumes, and than just kinda plastered on top of the scene and duplicated for underneath with probably diff seed.

Yeah. The jet streams look more like smoke in an atmosphere. Smoke particles slow down because they are impeded by the atmosphere that wouldn't be present in space.

Yeah. I'd think the jet streams would be more pointy like a linear blast sorta deal, but in it's own tail/drag we'd see interesting shapes due to collisions of particles, and other ionizing effects.
