Title: Valley Passage
Post by: Dune on August 28, 2021, 11:09:04 AM
Started out as an experiment to make a wild river without using the (slow in PT) water shader (where I also had an error after adding a surface shader), but it turned out to be something completely different. I added 2 simple shape areas left and right of the stream, raising them and adding fake stone rocks. Als added distant hills by distance shader (with some erosion and rivers by Daniil), but they are not really visible.

Very nice POV and framing of the shot.  I really like the shine on the cliffs as well.  Feels like a narrow winding canyon.

Beautiful. One of those images you can "feel".

Nice work.  The canyon walls are the bomb, vegetation and atmosphere look great

All I would do is crank the light, just a little, but I'm just used to whining compositors

Thanks guys.

Yes, on this monitor it looks very dark to me too. My other monitor is better. Quick Irfanview lighting up... perhaps too light now, but well, quick and dirty...

Definitely like the 2nd/lighter image. Completely missed the horse and rider in the first image.
