Title: Snowdrift
Post by: Harvey Birdman on December 13, 2007, 11:19:45 AM
Check out the view out my office window this morning. It ... errr... seems to have drifted up a bit over night.   :D   There's only about 25 cm or so of snow, if it were evenly distributed, but the wind blew yesterday and last night and piled it all up.

:)

Here in Kansas we are due for about 4 inches tomorrow night and saturday. Which isn't bad for me but the rest of the state got hit hard by an ice storm earlier this week so it may cause some issues for others.

Yeah, we got the ice storm earlier this week. I was getting worried about the trees, but after about 36 hours or so there was a nice gentle breeze, just enough to break the ice off all the branches without breaking the branches themselves. Last night was pretty ugly with the drifting - 80 was closed between Cheyenne and Laramie, and the wife was stuck at the University till late.   :-\
