Messing around with cloud density defined by an Image Map shader (two clouds).

Impressive, there may be hope of creating a mushroom like cloud.
....or maybe even a tornado.

Very cool results. I suppose to avoid the flat look to edges you might be able to use a bunch more images with different camera positions. Making a true mushroom cloud would be pretty difficult at the moment, but we hope to provide better tools to create and adjust specific cloud shapes in the future.

Ta. I deliberately kept the mask contrast high, so I'll try a softer version when I get the chance.

i think that it would be easyer just to make a model of a tornado than trying to make one by tweaking the clouds just right.

I tried it (image map shader for clouds) in my beginnig works with terragen 2. There is a little bug in the "Terragen 2"  font...a black undefined line. I don't know why...
