ps: You wouldn`t believe how dramatically the lighting has changed when I made the helmets luminous by only a tiny amount. 0.05 or so...

In fact it reminded me of a painting I once saw at the Guggenheim Museum in Venice, very dark, brooding and with the same color scheme. Can't remember who it was by, though.
