WIP. A bit dull, so I'm looking for a way to make the lighting more dramatic and realistic at the same time. Water needs work too, tree on the right too. I was aiming at misty with sunrays through canopy, but need to find the best way to setup the haze layer to get maximum ray effect.
Looks great so far! I can imagine it takes some time to find the right lighting, until you get the desired rays.
This may sound dumb, but..... I'm having trouble seeing how the piece of wood in the left foreground fits with the rest of the tree behind it? (Probably just the viewing angle)
No, it looks circular indeed, bugged me too. But that's viewing angle.
Perfect use of the veggies and just love the haze and light ! Nice work !
Great start, this will be in tip top shape soon I know it. Love the hunters and the fog at their feet. It's going to be epic!
Finished, as far as I'm concerned. But I can't show at full size, so you'll have to do with these. I changed the tree, and added some more veggies and algae on the water. 3000px wide render took 2hours in PT, so I'm pretty pleased.
Two pops on the tree object, one grassy and one fern. The moss patches were procedurally merged in.
Wow, that is nice. You always get the small details in place that make it so realistic.
And epic it is! Really nice work dune. I really like all the veg, the veg on the tree is superb.
