Hi,
So I've been having some issues with my computer lately, as some of you already know, but suddenly it started acting normal again. I don't know what's going on, so we'll see how long it will last.
Also I became a dad about a year ago, so I haven't had much time, but finally got some free time and made this simple scene in Terragen.
Hope you like it :)

Oh my - that's a beauty!
i have all the time in the world and cant do that good
awesome picture
where did you get the trees?
Congratulations on Fatherhood sjefen! Your post is quite stunning!
Congratulations from me too! Boy or girl?
And the render is great in its simplicity. Especially the small lower vapor is a very nice touch. And indeed; great trees.
Thank you guys :)

It's a girl :)
I'm not 100% sure, but I think the trees are from 3D Shaker: https://www.3dshaker.com/coniferoustree
I think 3D Shaker have some really nice tree models and it's not too expensive ;D

Wow, beautiful!!! This looks absolutely realistic. I love it.
And congratulations from me as well. :)
Thank you ;D
Congratulations.
That image is superb!!!
That is really a beautiful piece of work ! Also.... congratulations on being a father..... always a life changer for sure !
Congrats on the fatherhood Terje! Nice render too, i also started to follow you on Artstation cuz im sure you will come back with more nice stuff everytime you can...
A small update.
I wasn't quit happy with the fog in the background, but now that I'm more happy with that, I can see I need to pay some more attention with the vegetations in the background. Ha ::)
Added a golden eagle also.

Brilliant!! I liked the first version as well. Different, but not worse to my taste.
Great version as well. Perhaps the shadows in the mist were indeed too much.
Nice eagle (3D object or card?), but I have the impression it's aleast twice as big as it should be. An eagle like that should be about 60cm high, sitting. It looks huge in relation to the 20m(?) trees.
Definitely like the 2nd image.
And congrats on fatherhood!

Yeah, I agree. The eagle looks to big. I should shrink it down a little. Thanks for pointing that out :)
It's a 3D model btw. You can find it here: https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/golden-eagle-dd0552b1f93b441cbdd626a5b2abebbf

Thanks for the link, Terje. That's a cool model. Seems to be photogrammetry, and I thought how on earth can you do that with a wild animal, but I read it's from a museum. Great idea! :)

Yeah, it is a cool model and a great idea. Makes me wanna try and ask a museum nearby if I can make some photogrammetry models myself ;D

Yeah, thanks for the link. I've scoured Sketchfab several times, but hadn't come across this eagle. There are quite a few stuffed scanned birds, but most of them are ugly (bad taxidermy, wrong pose). The eagle is well done, so a good asset! I've stuffed quite a few birds myself, so know a little about taxidermy.
So, if you ask a museum, Terje, take the well-posed and well-stuffed ones! I'd be quite interested in some fine specimens myself.

Of course I wouldn't wanna waste any time on a poorly made model. I'm no expert in this field, but I think I should be able to spot a good one, like I did with this eagle ;D
Hopefully there's a museum that are willing to help out with this. Would be pretty sweet :)
I'll keep you updated if there are any good news :)
Good luck! You indeed picked this one out as top work.
I should probably also make another image to showcase that bird a little better.
So I was gonna scale down the eagle a little bit, but I guess on could say thing got a little out of hand :o
This is just from the RTP window. Waiting for the real render.

LOL ;D
Seeing the second picture with the eagle I thought to myself "this looks a little bit like some sort of 'Dragonheart' scenery.
Well, there he is!
CHeers, Klaus
;D ;D ;D Looks great!!
Here's the rendered version.

Looks good.
Amazing!! Although I'd love to see the original version with the rescaled bird.

I went in a slight different direction again, but the eagle is back and scaled down a little. I still think it might be to big, but I'm not sure. Here it is anyway.

wow
very nice
Looks really good. Very grainy overall though, or is that post to get a photograph-like appearance?
Wow, beautiful!!!!
Echo others - Definitely top notch.
That last one is a really beautiful scene and render (not that the other two are less beautiful)!
