ok, when i plug in a distance shader into the clouds i get a solid, single cloud, how do i change this to being a normal cloud formation and not a wall ???
you also need to plugin your camera into the distance shader...
The cloud formation comes from the cloud fractal shader, so you need to make sure that is still connected as the cloud layer's density shader. You need to use the distance shader as a "blend shader" (mask) for the cloud fractal. In the cloud fractal shader, enable "Blend by shader", click the "..." button and assign the distance shader.
