This is just another sunset render. I'm looking to increase the cloud density a bit and to improve the water in some way. Also I want to find a camera angle tom make the scene more interesting. Any and all comments are welcome :)

very nice lighting, atmosphere and water....the overall mood/feeling of the iamge is great!....I also like the touch of birds...one thing would be to get rid of background land and some of the foreground land...its making it look unreal...also the grass....normal grass cant survive this far into the water!.....and I think you should leave the clouds as they are....they are perfect!...
very good colours and light.
i really need to see more of this sky ;)
Great looking atmosphere and colours. Like dhavalmistry I think the clouds are good as they appear currently. Perhaps some wetland bird species (egrets) might look nice in the foreground, instead of the landmass, perhaps reeds and water grass might be an alternative.
Here is the second render with more sky just for you seth. I decided to scrap the plant life and go for some rocks instead. I don't like the giant poofy cloud up top so'll try some different clouds until I get something better.

hehehe thank you ! that's a good one man ! very nice colours ! good atmo...
Really like the lighting on this one. Nice setup. The birds are excellent. The sun is perfect. The water is very good.
that's right calico : the birds add a real good living thing to this render ^^
Thanks everybody! I have a larger higher quality render cooking right now and I'll post it when it's finished.
just one thing....why is the camera tilted???
Just to try and make the scene a little more interesting. That doesn't sound like a good excuse so I'll make one up... the camera angle is tilted because the camera is floating on the water, and as the gentle waves splash on the camera it moves the camer angle a bit creating the tilted perspective. There we go, now it sounds like I actually put some thought into the picture ;)
excuse accepted!
Looking good ;D
I did however like the clouds in the first version.
So did I, in the next one the clouds are a lot closer to the ones in the first picture. They're actually pretty subtle, more so than in the first image but I think it's an improvement.
darth. I like both renders for different reasons, though I think I prefer the second one more. By the way, most excelent excuse, couldn't have thought up a better one myself ;D

Sorryfor the long wait, the render has crashed twice, each about ten hours in. :-[
good light but couldn't you show more sky?
sorry for the long wait, my computer was being stupid. With this one I want to do more with the water and somehow add more color variation into the scene.

Love the colors. Like the setting. Good work.
thanks :)
Yeah the colors are superb, I really like the light, nice work.
The last image is really eye catching. Well done
Thankyou :) I've got another one thats almost done where I've made the sky more purple and increased the cloud density. I think it's even better than the most recent one so please tell me what yall think whn I get it posted ;)
WOW! This new version is great ;D
Switching to the vertical composition has made a real difference.
Ok here is the latest image, I like what the boarder does to the overall composition, it makes me look more professional, yay :)

borders can be done with Gimp or Photoshop, or similar image editing software. I use Photoshop, and it's really simple to do

I'd like to learn so any information you could give me would be well received I have Photoshop 5.5 (Way behind the times but I plan to upgrade soon).
Regards to you.

This looks good. Very simple, and peaceful, though I think a level horizon would have been a bit better. Either way, it looks nice.
For the boarder I just used paint.net and created different layers with different colors and widths before flattening the image into one piece. It takes some math but its not that hard if you have a calculator.
I definitely like the more defined clouds in this last version.
I also quite like the tilted horizon however I have never been a great fan of borders and frames.
Here it goes, I'm rendering a poster sized version so wish my computer luck. I'll post a link when it's finished in about a week, because I doubt the file will fit with what I'm able to attach here :)
