Title: Pirate Island (TG 0.9)
Post by: Mr_Spook on February 13, 2008, 04:18:06 PM
Hiya

I thought I'd share this picture with you, which took over an hour to render.

I called this Pirate Island, as it reminds me of pirates. I've also submited this to another site i sometimes submit my stuff to.

Hope you like it, i've also converted this to jpg to save on the upload size.

Interesting scene.  Try playing with the clouds a little to give them some body.

Nice render great atmosphere , render time (probably due to the water, always a killer)
I agree with calico's suggestion and also would suggest some transperancy in the water to show better depth detail

Thanks for the great comments, I will try and play around with the water transparency next time and see what I get, I tend not to play with the water to much unless im doing scenes close to the shore

That are very nice soft rays! The water needs some more structure and you should work on the surfaces for more interesting details on the island. Water transparency is a good idea I think.
