Now here is one that makes my day. ??? >:( ???.
The render appears to be done but the program crashed anyway.
I can live with crashes mid render, but to crash at the end stinks!!!!
Ooo, nice. Check your temp folder (you can do Explore Temporary Files from the File menu in TG2), you may find the finished render...

Yeah I checked and even though it looks finished on the screen TG2 hadn't put up the render complete message on the top bar so nothing was saved to the temp folder. That's what makes it frustrating, I have dumbed down the water setting as far as I dare an d fiddled the the render settings.
It is just a simple render, the models are the canoe, Fishing pole, Creel and a small population of fir trees for the reflection in the water.
It looks like the boat is shiny/reflective though, so that may be causing problems. May be best to wait on this one until the beta.

I'm not sure it's related, but I have had one TGD do this, when I do an overnight render. I leave the screensaver (low quality...Time or some such) on and have thought maybe that contributed. Anyway, the render has finished and I still get TG2's death message.

The only reflectivity on the canoe is the specular is set to 1, I will try to lower it a tad and see if it helps.
Mind you I haven't given up and if need be it will go into the the "To be rendered later folder"

The screensaver is turned off, always is when I render. Thanks though.

Only with the windows error message. When you move the message there is a nice white blank in the middle of the image where the message was. :)
this is looking really nice...
