tweaked world from my last post...for pronounciation of title use a 'hard' G.....thanks for comments and critiques, as these are always welcome and appreciated

Real nice displacement I like the surfacing The atmosphere IMO is a little to bright

I agree with chefc.  To add to his comments, without much thought, I love the scope and size.  The color and lighting is great.  Good texturing.  Great atmosphere.

The strata is some of the best I've seen recently but I think the green is too saturated and bright, it jusy doesn't seem to fit with the color of the rock. Still, an excellent piece ;)

This definitely has an other worldly look.  This is one of the few times that a I think a planet with rings would fit perfectly in the sky.  Most of the times when I see a huge planet in the sky, I think it looks out of place.  But I think it would fit nicely here.

thanks for the comments folks....with regard to the green being out of place with the red stone...I beg to differ! there's alot of grass and red sandstone cliffs in Devon UK(not far from where I am from.)...but as they say each to their own!
