I'm working on another version and invite observations / suggestions.
Hey that's Wicked Cool!
Great effects on the rocks! I would try making the clouds a little less blobby, but other than that I think this is fantastic. One of your best!
Agree with Old_Baggard. Nice work.
Very interesting start.
I can see your working on combing different terrain styles, something I have been attempting unsuccessfully for some time. How have you combined the terrains, I've tried using a merGe shader but is this a heightfield shader in the foreground? Oh and I agree about the clouds, could use some more work.
I'm watching with interest :)

This is a great start, the rocks, cliff etc look fantastic. my only concern are the clouds. I'll be keeping an eye on future versions.
Very interesting for a start, the clouds are not terrible (for my taste!) Against a superb impression of immensity, parameter that I find it hard to go elsewhere!
One mountains with pine trees strange? I look forward to the continued focus on the "Rock cracked"
really cool terrain displacement, and i think the closer clouds look surreal, but very interesting
Thanks to everyone for your comments. My biggest problem recently has been to get the clouds "just right". Seems sort of nebulous sometimes. Anyway, I'm working on a new set of clouds. :P I agree about something needing to be done, but what exactly, I'm not sure.
@cyphyr - The node network consists of a Terrain group that is multi-tiered Fractal Terrains, which was something I picked up about doing with something I saw Volker do. I played off of his work. Then, I take this into a rough and rocky terrain shader group. Then, It goes into a cracked group and then a tiered group of fake stones.
@Phylloxera - I'm only using a population of trees on one mountain, until the Beta version comes. I hate frustrating myself with constant destruction. :D
i really like the displacements on the big mountain !
Definitely one of your best so far.Thumbs up. 8)
