Title: I'm a newbie.. please help
Post by: taelin on June 08, 2008, 05:59:17 AM
I just downloaded and learned Terragen yesterday. It seemed not very difficult. To follow the tutorial, I imported my whole project into C4d and did the texture mapping. Everything looks great so far. But when I animated the camera. Everything stood still. It is because all the texture had been projects frontal. So, It didn't matter how I move my cam. Everything stood still.

Is there ways for me to animate my cam in this (Terragen) cinema4d to get the same cool, realistic look of Terragen?
Is there any tutorial to show me how to move my cam to get the 3d look of Terragen in C4D?

I use Mac Os X.4 and C4d 9.5

Please help... Thanks all.

You need make the same animation path in Terragen and C4D then render out a Terragen sequence and use it as an *animated* front-projected texture. This way the projected texture "background" will move properly with your camera.
