This grew from me mucking around trying to do a tidy "cloudy Sunset" type pic. I wasn't too interested in the terrain... but, I sort of got involved.... There is more to do on the terrain and I want to put some trees on the mountain in the right foreground (there are trees in the left valley, but its a bit dark so you probably can't see them).

great sky, the rest is a bit too dark....
I like the light hitting the cool terrain. I think you should up the contrast and make sure you are using soft shadows. My reasoning is that might emphasize the light rays and give you enough to see the ground. Use PhotoMatix or Photoshop or something to play with the EXR values.

A lot of nice detail in those clouds but I agree about the yellow. ;)
I actually like the image, don't know why but it reminds me of the movie Constantine...
So that's your "work in progress", I would be very interested in seeing the final version! :)
