Title: Preparing Object... stop it!
Post by: gregsandor on June 18, 2008, 01:17:47 AM
Every time I duplicate an object, a camera, or perform any basic setup operations in my scene, TG cycles through EVERY object in the scene "Preparing Object".  This is unnecessary and a terrible time drain.  How do I prevent it?

You don't duplicate :-\.  Hopefully they'll fix this bug soon.

I'm animating a space battle with 57 capital ships on one side and 47 on the other.  I haven't even added the TIE fighters and XWings yet...

Holy crap....  Well, one way that you can avoid the problem that I forgot to mention earlier is to disable all of the objects, although then you have to turn them all back on later.

Sounds like a cool scene.  I'd just wait until it's fixed.

This works, thanks.
