Title: Avalanche revisited

Here's a re-render of a pic I did about a year ago which I still consider to be one of my best scenes. Due to the long render times involved at the time I never turned up the detail/quality settings. So now I've re-rendered in TP4 with higher settings and the results are quite pleasing.
Quality .8, AA 6, GI 3,3. time - 9hrs 15min.

Really nice. Could be a movie poster for Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country ;)

Shiver me timbers...looks pretty good.  Some of the fragmentation might be a little unrealistic.

Good effect, and the mountain in the distance is pretty cool too
