Title: Applying shader to imported object (different from other similarly named post)
Post by: moray on January 11, 2007, 11:01:51 AM
Hello again...I've searched the forum before asking this and wasn't able to find the answer (it's probably here, just didn't use the correct search syntax).

In an earlier thread regarding importing an object (specifically 3d text from C4d, and thanks to FrankThomas and others I've been able to do that) I would now like to apply a shader to this (or color it in some manner) but don't see anyway of attaching a shader to this specific object.

Pointers, anyone??

...blindly fumbling along

Look three or four posts down from this one.  Shading Imported Object.

Thanks to both of you.   I called myself reading that thread, but just didn't 'register' what I was reading.  I went back and looked at it closer and found the answer (after fumbling around some).

Thanks again for a great board that is anxious to help those of us less fortunate in the 'experience' department.
