Title: export camera data from terragen for matchmoving
Post by: Curly01 on July 23, 2008, 04:27:23 AM
IF YOU COULD EXPORT CAMERA MOTION AS A CURVE OR PATH AND IMPORT THIS IN YOUR 3D PACKAGE INSTEAD OF DOING MOTIONTRACKING THIS WOULD SAVE US SOME TIME.

Hi,

I think generally people do it the other way - create motion in other apps and then import that into TG2. TG2 can import the .chan format, there is some discussion about this on the forums. TG2 has been used in a number of motion pictures etc. so matchmoving isn't a problem. Well, you have to get the motion data into .chan format, but apart from that it isn't a problem :-).

Regards,

Jo

I'll ask on the Blender forum if they could write a python script for it.
