Title: Grey dots in rendered picture
Post by: JimAward on September 28, 2008, 10:59:10 AM
Hi,

I'm new to TG2 and perhaps this is a typical newbie thing...
but my rendered pictures have little grey/black dots, especialy when using clouds and haze. See the attached picture of one of my first sceneres.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Do I need to tweak parameters again in the atmosphere settings or in the render module?
Thanks,

JA

Hi Jim

You must rise the atmosphere samples. How much depends on the scene, but I think in this one 64 samples should do the trick.
If not, you'll know what to do ;)

Thanks a lot, Terje, that's indeed the key to a grainless sky... and massive render times  ;D
