I've noticed this. I think it has something to do with updating the temp folder saves, ie the more renders you kick off through one session, the longer it takes for the program to do it's temp save thing, sometimes resulting in a crash.

The simple solution, is when you start noticing a lag at the end or forced stop of a render, save the project then restart TG2.

How do you change the temp folder?

You don't need to. TG opens a new folder each time it starts up. Somehow it clogs up after about 15 or so renders of a scene.

You can find these folders in your "documents and settings/...../local settings/application data/Planetside/....." on Windows. Each one of those sub folders is a record of .bmp renders from each session of TG. It's quite safe to delete them.

Hi,

This is a bug which is fixed for the next release. The delay will get longer the more renders you do, and memory usage can get out of hand and cause a crash. The workaround is to periodically quit TG2 and restart it. I would definitely recommend this before doing a final render. This isn't to do with the Temporary Folder, although I can see how you might think it is.

Regards,

Jo
