Title: Help for animations
Post by: tagan on October 17, 2008, 11:37:52 AM
Hi all.
i'm italian. sorry for my english.

I use Terragen good, but not the animations. I use terranim to create the script. terranim generated me a script with about 2000 frames.

if I run the script, Terragen renders 2000 frames creating 2000 bitmap.   ???
how to make movies ? and how can i do it in more days? (if the creation of a film it takes a long time)

exist a tutorial?

thanx

Well in the simplest of terms if you rendered all 2000 frames you already have your movie!  What you are missing is the putting it all together step.  Without getting complicated I would suggest downloading Virtualdub (free) here:  http://www.virtualdub.org/ (http://www.virtualdub.org/)

Run the program and and select "open video file" then choose the first frame of your animation.  It will then load all the rest automatically.  From there it is simply a matter of choosing what movie type you want to export it as.

Indeed thanks, you both.
I'm using Terragen for years, and was wondering about animation versions.
This already shows quite crucial info about how to get started.
