Title: New WORLD MACHINE 2 project (unfinished)
Post by: toseknows on October 24, 2008, 12:33:23 PM
I'm thinking of putting some scrubby bushes/sajuaro cacti around the valley bottom.

Very nice.  Does WM2 include clouds?

Try this tutorial for your scene:

Don't be mad at me!! as it looks great!
BUT I want it as a winter scene, because those overhangs would look better or more believable as an avalanche type scenario.
Then again, I'm often wrong!! Looks good though. :)

WM2 does not have a full-blown renderer at all. It is a terrain generator and only includes basic OpenGL shading "render" modes for visualizing terrain as you build it. It is intended to be exported to a renderer like TG2, which the above image appears to have been rendered with. ;)

Great scene excellent atmosphere Terrain definitely has some character to it
and I have to lean towards Mandrakes post and agree that an avalanche scene
would be better use (IMOP)

...then I'd say, "Great clouds!".
