I like the distant mountains.  All you need now is something attractive in the foreground - like a snowboarder doing a flip.   :D

I really like the crispness of the image. I would try working on some more realistic patterns for the snow. It's hard, I know, but definitely worth it for this image.

Can you add a powerfractal to the leaf texture to make it look like there's some snow on it?
That would really help make this image imho.

Dont' think you can add a power fractal to an object?? but I'm going to try and alter the colour of the tree needles to see if that helps.
A long time ago Oshyan said he was working on a method for snow on trees but I never saw anything appear here. He seems to be away from the forum at the moment.

What I meant was to blend the image colour with a powerfractal as the colour function for the needles.
That should give some variation between the green image and white (snow) to make them look like they've had a light dusting. Close ups prob wont look like snow but varigated leaves, but medium and longer shots should be acceptable.

thanks for the boost, have been spending more time on my other major interest (origami) but will upload a few things soon. its just amazing how far this list and the images have come
