Title: Painted Shader
Post by: Esgalachoir on November 27, 2008, 12:28:38 AM
Hey all,
I've got a noob question...how on earth do you set up the painted shader?  I'm not quite sure how to go about it.

There are a few ways to get started. I find the easiest is to find your loction in the 3d preview you want the mask to be, let it render to 80-100% and then hit the pause. Then you'll see a button near that with a P on it. Click that and start a new painted shader. If you go into the shader details you can adjust the brush size, falloff, flow etc. Paint and enjoy!  :)

Lonewolf is almost right. The button you need has a B on it for Brush.

Hi guys,

One when my muse is visiting again (she's been gone a while!) I'll make an icon for that button :-).

Regards,

Jo

Ahhhhhh....I missed that little button.  I've a knack for evading the obvious, thank you very much!

My computer screen must be too small, cause the arrow is blocking the lower part of the B.  :(
Time for another upgrade.  ;D
