Title: DAZ meets Terragen2: Dragons - the arrival
Post by: Klas on November 27, 2008, 04:44:14 PM
This is the Millenium Dragon from the 3D Bridge Starter Pack (http://www.daz3d.com/i/3d-models/-/3d-bridge-starter?item=5504&_m=d&refid=769234700) posed with DAZ Studio (http://www.daz3d.com/i/software/studio/download?_m=d&refid=769234700). The dragon has 29 shader so I have split it with Blender (http://www.blender.org/) into two objects.
Only done for testing.

A good start you have here but somehow the lighting seems wrong on the dragon, looks like it was rendered in a different package (I know it wasn't ;)) Try de-saturating the images used in your dragon shaders to match terragens more muted colours. Keep going :)

cyphyr is correct.  Try de-saturating the DAZ image to match.  It might even take some playing with the contrast values a bit.

Nice model klas, I agree with cyphyr on the colors.
