Title: some other grasses there too
Post by: buzzzzz1 on December 05, 2008, 05:06:27 PM
Don't know if anyone looked any further from the other post about dried grasses but here are some more.

http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/3d-grass-natural-model/414180 (http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/3d-grass-natural-model/414180)  pretty good price.

http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/3d-winter-bushs-model/394786 (http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/3d-winter-bushs-model/394786) A little steep in price but I think would look good in the proper scene.

I've considered getting some of the other packs as well.  They are nicely priced relative to everything else on TurboSquid, though still kind of on the expensive side.  Personally, I think nearly everything on that site is WAY overpriced.  If people are actually buying that overpriced stuff, I think I've found me a new job.

Yeah, I was also quite surprised at the price of the grass as compared to other items on the site . I've browsed that site before but was turned off by the high prices on other stuff.  Perhaps they should call the site "Turbo-Gouge" LOL

I was thinking about putting a low-res 2D tree on there and charging $450 for it.

They might be better off selling that one by putting it on a 'shingle' and selling it to the Department of Defense.

LOL, excellent find and comments.  Some people left reviews on the models, so that means they actually bought them.  Geez.

look at this
http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/gotal-car-petra-3d-model/289633 (http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/gotal-car-petra-3d-model/289633)
that 956 dollars just for one rather poor quality model

then take a look at this
http://www.deespona.com/3denciclopedia/howtoorder.html (http://www.deespona.com/3denciclopedia/howtoorder.html)

5000 models pretty good quality too for 395 dollars

well you do the math and see which package has the best content/price ratio ;D
