Playing around with TG2, I'm mostly working on distance shots - my primary use for TG2 is for cubemaps/skyboxes for Unity games, so I don't care about the close ups, as the game engine handles anything close. But what I need is stuff "on the horizon", including mountains, forests, plains, etc.
So I stumbled upon the attached file by accident. For a first try, I quite like the forests. What do you think?

Forests are an odd green. There's a way to use 2D graphics for distant renders somewhere around here...

The problem is probably that they're green all around, even at the edges. I have no idea how to fix that. :-)
I'll see if I can use populations of trees without blowing up my machine.
With your populations just use low detail to keep you machine going.
