Title: How to move a planet
Post by: gregsandor on December 14, 2008, 09:42:51 PM
I will be importing animation to use on a terrain model, shown in the attachment at the north pole.  I want to leave it in place and move the planet around underneath it so the red sqare on the map is aligned under the terrain.

How?

You can't really rotate a planet at present, unfortunately. You can move the planet, or more easily move the terrain patch you're importing...

Okay, how do I move the terrain and texture maps (currently mapped on the Y axis at the North Pole) to the real location (red sqauare)?  Every time I've moved them they distort.
