Title: Lord of the Rings Still Image Contest - Official Final Renders

Join the contest and live the LOTR adventure again.

Please submit your final images here for the contest.  No Works-In-Progress should be placed here.  Please place your WIPs in your own thread and get suggestions as well as assistance that way.

Here are the rules we have agreed upon for this contest, which began on December 7th and will be completed by January 31st. 

    * We can work in teams, but only one entry is allowed per team
    * We can work as individuals, but only one entry is allowed per individual
    * You can create something in a group and at the same time work on something as an individual, but this will mean only two possible entries including both group and individual entry
    * The theme of this contest will be based upon the LOTR series and our final entry (or entries) will be a recreation of a still image (or images) only - no animation
    * Postwork is allowed
    * The final basic rendered image must be accomplished within TG2 only; any work outside of TG2 must compliment the basic render in TG2 - this is critical to the integrity of the contest


This contest in no way represents the creators of LOTR, is not associated with the movie productions or the literary works of LOTR, and has no association with Planetside other than their gracious offering of this website for our fun.

Remember - entries are due by the 31st of January and this thread will be for final images or links to final images only.  No critiquing in this thread.

The road to Bree is being watched!

There are strange goings on these days, as Dark Riders have been seen on the road. Smithy Klas has picked all the sunflower seeds he could manage and abandoned his shop for the strong walls of Bree. They're searching for something, these Dark Riders.  It's whispered that the Troll, stone frozen for years, has now disappeared. Beware my small friends or trouble will befall you!
