Hi all. Happy new year to you all, hope its a good one ;D
This is a redo of one of my old TG 0.9 renders http://mr-miley.deviantart.com/art/Solitude-18414112 (http://mr-miley.deviantart.com/art/Solitude-18414112). The old version was rendered HUGE and is hanging on someones wall.
Anyway, I used Lightnings Hi Res grass and the highland grass, and I can't remember where I got the bullrushes from (if they are yours, let me know and I'll credit (think the file is called catails3.tgo))
Took about 7 hours odd to render at 0.8
Hope you like. C&C always welcome
Miles
A very warm render - that's how I would call it :)
Planetside should use old one together with a new one to show differences between TG 0.9 and TG2 ;)
Really nice render, it worths the rework with TG2.
The only thing I feel unconfortable is the relative scale of object population vs landscape: fake stone and grass seems to scale down the hills to talus... or it is me who have a wrong interpretation of the first image. ;D
Thanks for sharing

chaps hit it on the head. I was wondering what it was, since I like almost everything about this. It's the scale of the mountains vs. the small stones - this needs changed to go one way or the other: smaller stones or larger mountains.
Yes it looks nice but I agree about the scale.
Great show of quality difference.
Apart from the scale, up the atmo quality in the final render and it's a winner!
Thanks for the C&C everyone.
Daft as it may sound, in my mind, I had the scale of this as it looks (eg. the "mountains" to the left about 5' - 6' above the level of the water etc). Eeeee, when I were 't lad I used to go swimming in a place a bit like this (It didn't look like this but the pond formed in a glacial "scar" The pond was about 8' deep and the surrounding rock only rose about 4' above the water level) Anyway, looking at this with everyone elses eyes I can see what you mean, but it looks about fine to me ;D
Mohawk, the atmo looked fine on my smaller test renders, only noticed this myself on completion of the large version, but was too lazy to re-render :(

Makes perfect sense.
